About Us

Mane + Stitch started in a working salon, not a warehouse.

We are Mane-Tained — a hair extension salon in Costa Mesa, California, open since 2021, with eleven stylists installing wefts on real clients every week. We spent years buying extension hair that arrived backordered, blended badly, or turned over the moment a client washed it. Eventually we stopped waiting for someone else to fix it and sourced our own.

Mane + Stitch is the hair we built for our own chairs. Every shade in the line is one we use ourselves.

The hair

Our wefts are made from the highest quality Eastern European hair, sourced sustainably to meet our standard for longevity and to give a luxurious feel once installed. It blends easily and reads natural on a client rather than sitting on top of their own hair.

The line

Twenty-five signature shades in four lengths, hand-tied. Micro wefts are available in select colours and two lengths. Every shade lists its level numbers and blending partners, because matching should not be guesswork — see the shade guide.

In stock

All wefts are stocked and ready to ship. No backorders, no waiting on a restock to finish a colour plan you have already sold. Local stylists are welcome to pick up at the salon.

For licensed professionals

Mane + Stitch sells to licensed stylists only. We do not sell to the public — the hair goes in at the chair, by someone trained to install it.
